Beck Green is a Researcher and Guide at American Ancestors, working as part of both the Research & Library Services and the Family Heritage Experience Teams. They conduct research on behalf of patrons and clients and help visitors discover and connect with their own family stories through engaging interpretation and guided experiences. Beck is also a contributing author of the American Ancestors blog, Vita Brevis.

Prior to joining American Ancestors, Beck worked with several historic institutions in Boston, focusing on the interpretation and accessibility of archival and museum collections. They received a B.A. in Public History from Salem State University and an M.A. in Historic Preservation, with a concentration in Museum Practices, from Boston University.

Areas of Expertise: Colonial-era New England, Jewish history, lineage societies in the United States, and archival standards.
