Lesley joined American Ancestors/NEHGS in 2019 after she received a B.S. from Brigham Young University-Idaho in Family History Research, with a minor in Business. In addition to courses specific to genealogy, she also completed courses in paleography, research methodology, genealogical writing, and professional research. She developed a passion for history at a young age and traveled abroad to Israel, Turkey, and Greece to study world history and religion. Additionally, she volunteered in Bangkok, Thailand as a volunteer representative for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
