Join Kristen Weiss, site manager of Beauport, the Sleeper McCann House, and Historic New England's Curator of Fashion & Decorative Arts, Dr. Nora Ellen Carleson in a virtual exploration of the summer home of Henry Davis Sleeper, one of America's first professional interior designers. Learn about the man behind the house as well as the home and its dazzling and eclectic collection of curiosities, colored glass, folk art, and antiquities in every nook and cranny. With over forty rooms, each with their own unique theme, you'll learn how and why the home still fascinates and inspires collectors, designers, scholars, and nearly all who pass its thresholds today.
