Kate Kenyon joins American Ancestors with a background in both public and academic libraries, several of those years providing research assistance to university students. She holds a BA in Psychology from the State University of New York at Potsdam and a Master’s in Library and Information Science from St. John’s University.

Kate grew up listening to family stories, which sparked her interest in family history. She has ancestral roots that can be traced to England, Ireland, and Scotland, as well as a Colonial New England ancestor who arrived on the Mayflower.
