Scott Colby joined the NEHGS Staff in July 2021. He oversees the database search and tree technology for AmericanAncestors.org. Scott has also worked in various IT, programming, and database roles at the Institute of Contemporary Art and the Museum of Science.

Scott holds a degree in Computer Science from Wentworth Institute of Technology. Originally from a small town in Central Massachusetts, he has spent most of his adult life living in Cambridge and Somerville. His interests include writing, reading, getting lots of exercise, and yelling at the Red Sox.
