Presented by David Allen Lambert and Christopher C. Child

While we may have our differences when it comes to baseball and clam chowder, New Yorkers and New Englanders have a lot in common when it comes to colonial family history! This in-person seminar will help you understand the foundations of early New York and New England research. We will discuss migrations, go-to records and published resources, researching strategies, and tracing your Revolutionary War ancestors. Join our experts, Chief Genealogist David Allen Lambert and Senior Genealogist Christopher C. Child, as they travel from Boston to the Big Apple to connect you with your colonial roots and explore our interconnected histories.

Please reach out to Kathleen Mackenzie, Education and Programming Manager, with any questions at kathleen.mackenzie@nehgs.org or 617-226-1226.
