Upstate New York Research Tour 2026
Explore the New York State Library and the New York State Archives with experts from American Ancestors by your side. This popular tour includes individual consultations, lectures from experts, and group meals.
Program includes:
- Four-night stay in the Fairfield Inn Albany Downtown (daily hotel breakfast buffet included in stay)
- Orientation at the New York State Library and New York State Archives
- Lectures from American Ancestors genealogists
- One, thirty-minute, pre-tour Zoom consultation with an expert genealogist to help prepare for your research
- One, thirty-minute, in-person consultations with expert genealogists during the tour
- Group meals (opening reception and closing dinner)
- Pre-program preparatory webinar and resources
- Daily transportation to and from the New York State Library and New York State Archives

Written cancellations received before February 12, 2026 will be subject to a $100 per person cancellation fee. No refund is possible after this date. Fees are based on group participation. There is no refund for services, portions of the tour not taken, or participants who do not complete the tour.
