Abbie Langmead is responsible for the JHC's social media, community outreach, website, and for drafting JHC marketing and communications. After growing up in Greater Boston's Jewish community, Abbie is very excited to be joining the JHC as the Marketing & Engagement Associate to combine her lived experience with her professional work. She graduated from Emerson College with a Bachelor's in Creative Writing and minors in Postcolonial & Global Studies and Women & Sexuality Studies. She recently returned from Ireland where she earned her Master's in Modern and Contemporary Literary Studies at Trinity College Dublin. Her experience in marketing and community engagement ranges from work with local institutions like the Boston Book Festival to nationwide advocacy organizations like Active Minds. In every role, she works to communicate her genuine enthusiasm about the mission to those that can best support the work and looks forward to doing the same at the JHC.
