Ongoing Study Projects
Excellence in Scholarship
As a leader in genealogical scholarship, we are proud to support four important study projects that will help you with your research: The Great Migration Study Project, covering those who arrived in New England between 1620 and 1640; Early Families of New England, picking up in 1641 and giving accounts of families to 1700; Western Massachusetts Families in 1790, capturing families heading west at the time of the 1790 census; and Early Vermont Settlers to 1784, which provides accounts for the first settlers to New England's northern frontier.
These multi-year study projects have online and/or print components. All are available as databases to NEHGS members.
