Shannon graduated from the University of Massachusetts in Boston in 2018 where she earned a BA in History and Anthropology. Before joining the NEHGS team, she worked in the Member and Visitor Services department at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Shannon particularly enjoys the cultural aspects of history, including the arts, pop culture, and the ever-changing sociological patterns throughout the times. Though her focus lies mostly within U.S. and European histories, Indigenous studies took a primary role during her time in college as well. Shannon also enjoys learning about cultures from around the world and hopes to travel to many places to become acquainted with their histories and customs first hand.
