Ellie was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. After moving to Vancouver and graduating, she began working in web design in 2001 and has had the opportunity to work in education, travel and publishing industries.
Her interests include architecture, photography and history. After moving to Massachusetts in 2007 she began photographing historic properties in the region, her interest in history and architecture sparked by the regions beauty and historic character.

Steven was born and raised in Plymouth, Michigan. He received degrees in Marketing, Advertising and Psychology from Adrian College. He entered the computer field 20 years ago and has worked in the field of mortgage banking and desktop publishing in the printing industry.
Steven has worked as a volunteer for a number of non-profits setting up computer networks and websites.

Sam was born and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He received B.S. and M.S. degrees in Psychology from Eastern Michigan University and worked as a Human Factors researcher in automotive safety for 13 years. He entered the field of commercial software development in 1983 and acted as software developer and development manager at Wang Laboratories and The Foxboro Company. Sam joined the NEHGS staff in 2005.
Sam's interest in genealogy began shortly after moving to Massachusetts, when he and his family chanced upon the Sturgis Library in Barnstable, during a vacation on Cape Cod. There he discovered that he is a descendent of the Sturgis family that settled on Cape Cod in the 1630's.
Sam and his wife Gail live in Medway, Massachusetts. They have two grown children: Katie, a Registered Nurse in Wrentham, and David, a software developer in Somerville. You can email Sam at webmaster@nehgs.org.
Originally from Ohio, Christopher joined the Society in 2009 while attending Simmons College. He received his M.S. degree in Library & Information Science with concentrations in Archives Management and Cultural Heritage Informatics. In his role as Digital Collections Coordinator, Christopher assists in the digitization of historical and genealogical content for NEHGS websites. He also assists the Technical Services department with digital library projects and book conservation.

Andy is originally from Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Having studied guitar and musicology in Boston and Iowa, he has presented research on video game music and minimalist music. Andy joined the NEHGS staff in 2012.
