Authors of the 2014 bestselling book, Love & War: Twenty Years, Three Presidents, Two Daughters and One Louisiana Home, NEHGS Lifetime Achievement Award Honorees Mary Matalin and James Carville will present a talk on “Our American Heritage.”

Carville, a prominent figure in the Democratic party and lead strategist for Bill Clinton’s first presidential campaign, is a frequent commentator on CNN’s news program, The Situtation Room, as well as a former co-host of Crossfire. Matalin, a leading Republican political consultant, author, pundit and public speaker, has served roles under President Ronald Reagan, as campaign director for George H.W. Bush, and assistant to President George W. Bush.
