of his life in England, although he was a sailor by 1619.
Life in New England: According to a 1650 deposition,
in the year 1619 William Trevor was in the “Company’s service,”
probably the New England Company, a group which oversaw English
colonizing ventures in New England, in the year 1619. He returned the
next year, having been hired to come over with the Plymouth colonists
and stay for the first year. He returned to England afterwards. He
apparently was in Charlestown in 1650, when he made a deposition there.
