    Birth: He was born in England probably by 1610, if he was an adult on his arrival.

    Death: Nothing is known of his date or place of death.

    Ship: Unknown, 1632

    Life in England: William Harris appeared on a list of “The names of such men as are to be transported to New England to be resident there upon a plantation …” taken on March 1, 1631/2. Colonist Edward Winslow was also on that list.

    Life in New England: Walter Harris had indentured himself as a servant to Mr. John Atwood, of London, under the command of Mr. John Doane of New Plymouth for five years. On April 3, 1633, his time was sold to Henry Howland.There is no further record.

    Family: There is no evidence that Walter Harris married or had children.
