  • Pilgrim Village Families Sketch: Robert Long

    Robert Charles Anderson

Birth: There is no information on the date or place of birth for
    Robert Long.

Death: His date and place of death remain unknown.

Ship: Anne or Little James, 1623

Life in England: Nothing is known of his life in England.

Life in Holland: His name does not appear in the Leiden
records, but Robert Long may have lived in Holland. [see
    below]

Life in New England: Robert Long was grouped with Fear
and Patience Brewster in the 1623 land division. Thus he may
be either a relation or servant of the Brewsters, who had come
from Leiden. His name does not appear in the division of cattle
held in Plymouth Colony in May 1627. Either he had died or
left the colony by then or, as a servant, was not included.

Family: Nothing is known of any family members.
