Advertise in American Ancestors Magazine

American Ancestors: New England, New York, and Beyond, a sixty-four page, perfect-bound magazine, reaches 25,000 NEHGS members four times each year.

All ads are printed in the interior of the magazine in black and white. Ads may be purchased for a single issue or as a four-issue (one year) agreement. Four-issue agreements offer a substantial savings, the option to change your ad on an issue-by-issue basis, and the option to pay in four installments over the course of the year.

Ad Specifications

Digital files (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator) are preferred. Microsoft Word files will be reset in the magazine’s page layout software. High resolution PDFs are acceptable with embedded fonts and images. Font substitutions will be made as needed.

Artwork must be submitted separately in TIF, JPG, or EPS format. (Images embedded within high resolution PDFs are also acceptable.) Minimum resolution for grayscale art is 300 dpi and for line art, 1200 dpi.

Fonts must be Postscript fonts. TrueType fonts are not accepted.

Ads must be formatted to the exact size specified. All ads smaller than a full page will be fit into a preset border and must be submitted without a borders.

Files may be submitted by email or on CD-ROM.
