Garages
The Back Bay Garage
222 Berkeley Street and 500 Boylston Street, one block down and one block over from NEHGS. Call 617-266-7006 for more information. Entrances on Clarendon Street, between Boylston Street and St. James Avenue, and St. James Avenue between Berkeley and Clarendon streets.
Boston Common Garage

Copley Place Garage
100 Huntington Avenue, four blocks from NEHGS. Call (617) 369-5000 for more information or visit website. From Mass Pike Eastbound, take Exit 22 (Copley Square). Bear left around the Westin Hotel following signs for Copley Place parking.
John Hancock Garage
Adjacent to the Back Bay Station, four blocks south of NEHGS. Entrance at 100 Clarendon Street.
By car from west, follow the Mass Pike (Rt. 90) East towards Boston and take Exit 22 (Prudential Center/Copley Square). Bear right to Copley Square. This will bring you onto Stuart Street. At the second set of lights, take a right onto Clarendon Street. The parking garage (John Hancock Garage) is on the right-hand side of Clarendon Street.
By car from north/south follow Route 93 towards Boston and take Exit 26 (Storrow Drive/Cambridge). Follow signs onto Storrow Drive/Back Bay. Follow Storrow Drive signs to Back Bay and exit at Copley Square (a left exit). Turn right at the lights onto Beacon Street. At the second set of lights, turn left onto Clarendon Street. Follow Clarendon St. through (7) sets of lights. The John Hancock parking garage is on the right.

Rates: Meter parking 25 cents per 15 minutes, two hour maximum parking.
$25 ticket for violating the two hour limit. Coins, cash or credit cards accepted at meters.
Outside of Boston
Alewife Garage, Alewife Brook Parkway, Cambridge, located at the Alewife subway stop on the Red Line.
Once you've parked, you may take the Red Line train to Park Street station, change to an Outbound Green Line train and get off at the either the Arlington or Copley station.
Riverside Parking Lot, Grove Street off Route 128 at Exit 21.
Recommended for over-sized vehicles
Once you have parked, you may take the Green D Line train at the Riverside subway stop directly into Boston, getting off at the Arlington or Copley station.
