Michelle Major became the Human Resources/ Account Receivables Coordinator in January of 2007. Her many years in non-profit include Retail Manager at the Bostonian Society and seventeen years at the Boston Museum of Science in many different functions. She received her degree in Business Management/ Human Resources Concentration from Marian Court College. Michelle enjoys camping, hiking, skiing, history, and generally spending time with her family. Michael joined the staff of New England Historic Genealogical Society in 2003. Michael worked for Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, in Boston for ten years before coming to NEHGS. Ruth Agosto joined the New England Historic Genealogical Society in January 2013. Ruth is the owner of Angels Touch Commercial Cleaning Company since 2009 while working for the City of Boston from 2007 – 2011. Her past position as Head Account Clerk for the Auditing Department, reporting directly to the Supervising Manager and Deputy City Auditor, has played a pivotal role in providing the financial support and guidance that has allowed the Auditing department to run effectively and ensuring in staying within budget. Ruth comes to NEHGS with twenty years of Accounts Payable and Receivable experience, received Accounting Certificate from Dean College, Franklin, MA and is looking to continue her education in the Accounting field..
