Hendrick and Rachel Vanderveer's son was Tunis Henry Vanderveer who was born in 1810 in New York and died in 1866 in Illinois.  His first wife was Zusannah/Susan.  By 1850, his wife is listed in the federal census as Harriet in Coral, McHenry, Illinois.  Did Susan and Tunis divorce?  Did Tunis marry Harriet after Susan died?  Susan and Tunis's son was George Franklin Vanderveer who was born in Fulton, Oswego, New York in 1840.  Does anyone have a birth record for George?  The only information I have regarding his birth comes from census records and his civil war pension application.  Tunis was baptised in and married in the Dutch Reformed Church; however, DRC has no record of the baptism/birth of George or the marriage of Tunis and Harriet.  Is anyone else researching Tunis Henry Vanderveer and his line?  I can be contacted at  Thank you.
