I'm looking for information about the Denman family in general and particularly John Denman who was born in Essex, New Jersey and died 1842 in Carroll, Indiana. John was possibly the son of Joseph Denman and Mary Thompson of Essex, New Jersey.

Also, I'd love to have the name and any particulars about the "child yet unborn" mentioned in William Isaac Denman (1805-1861) will.

Anyone working on the Denman family, please contact me.

Thank you-

Phyllis Denman

I am also researching the Denman family.  My great great grandmother was Sarah Jane Denman, wife of John Clark and daughter of Joseph Denman and Abigail Miller of Newark NJ and environs.  According to a Denman book, Joseph Denman and Abigail Miller had 13 children, as yet unidentified.  The only evidence that I have for Sarah Jane being their daughter is a 1860 census that shows Joseph living with John and Jane Clark.  Being out here on the west coast, accessing NJ data is difficult.
