I have been researching the James Kehoe/Kehew (b. 1836, Ballina, Co. Tipp, IRE) and Alice O'Brien (b. 1837, Kilroe, Co. Tipp, IRE) for about fifteen years. James served in the Union Army from 1862 - 1865. He and Alice married in Salem MA in March 1865. They lived there until their deaths (James 1910 and Alice 1914) They had four children. James' name when he lived in Ireland was James McKeogh. I would be pleased to share information with other researchers of this family.
