Seeking ancestors and siblings of Thomas J. Baker who was born about 1802 in Gouldsboro, Hancock, ME. He married Anna Gates on 8 Dec 1823 in Grafton, MA. Children were William J., Mary Adeline, Ann Elizabeth, Martha Ann, Thomas Freeman, and Ellen/Eleanor Lucretia.
He married second Anna Gates' sister Martha Fullerton Gate and had a son Edward Augusta.
It appears that he had another wife and family in Boston at the same time. The wife was Elizabeth Winn and they had a daughter Cynthia.
Thomas was an auctioneer and quite a rounder it appears. His death certificate shows his parents as William and Betsy; however, this was the name of his first wife's parents as well. I'm not sure his information is accurate. He died 8 Jun 1866 in Boston.
