M. 6/10/1838 in Woodstock, CT.. Sarah Saunders (Sanders) age 17 Lewis Moore age 42 Both listed from Southbridge MA.. Need more information on their ancestry or families prior to marriage

James, you gave your experience level as "beginner", so here are some basics to check. Have you located their death records (the death filing in the towns in which they died)? Sometimes death records can provide names of parents and place of birth. I assume that you have looked closely at Southbridge MA materials (vital records, directories, census, town histories) since you mention that they were "of Southbridge" on the Woodstock CT marriage record.
