Seeking information of John Taylor and wife Ruth Knapp. John purchased 100 acres from Holland Land Company in Dec, 1824. He died in 1831 and Ruth lived until about 1855. I have a public tree "REDDY" on Ancestry with the Taylor line. I'm especially hopeful for any hints for placing John, b: c1770, in New jersey which is where some of his children showed as his birth place on later censes.
