Looking for the parents of Sarah Clark, who married 4 July 1772, as his second wife, John Eaton, son of Thomas and Mehitable (Carter) Eaton.
The intentions were filed in Methuen, Massachusetts, although they probably married in Salem, New Hampshire. John, born 1733, died 1823, married first, Salem, New Hampshire, 17 February 1756, Abigail Peasley, daughter of Daniel and Rebecca (Kelly) Peasley. Abigail died 1772.
John and Sarah later settled in Hopkington, New Hampshire.
There are two likely candidates for this Sarah. One, born 27 May 1741, is the daughter of Samuel and Abigail, of Methuen. The other is Sarah, born 12 May 1739, Methuen, daughter of Edward and Ruth Kelly.
Sarah the wife of John Eaton died at Hopkinton, 2 March 1814, at 74 years old (published in the NH Patriot). If this death age is correct the conclusion could be that she is the daughter of Edward and Ruth.
