I have a picture of a family member in military uniform. I checked with the Veterans Museum and was told he was a commissioned officer in the mid to late 1800's. The name on the back of the picture is John Henry. I know we have 2 John Henry's in the family. I know it is not the younger one. I cannot find any info. on the older one. Can you suggest the next step for me?
