I'm looking for information on and descendants of the Frederick W. Dean family, which originated in the 1820s in Detroit MI, moved into Ontario Canada (where?) 1839 - 1848, then returned to the US at Lewiston, Niagara County, NY.
Frederick's wife was Barbara Roon Troy, a widow with three Troy children.
Frederick and Barbara Dean had five children who reached adulthood:
Emma 1828 md. James Waggoner, then Benjamin Foose. Moved to Michigan
Edmund 1833 (twin) md. Emeline Colbath. Remained in Niagara Co.
Ann 1833 (twin) md. Thomas Peck. Married and lived in California
William 1837 md. Ada Marie Brook. Remained in Niagara Co.
Lucy May 1840 md. Benjamin Brown. Married and lived in California
Frederick W. Dean was born in England around 1799. Who were his parents and where in England was he from?
