I'm searching for any information to document that the Benjamin Olney, son of Stephen Olney and Mary Whipple, born in Rhode Island, really is the same person as the Benjamin Oney who died in Tazewell County, Virginia (possibly via an interim residency in NY). This is assertd in some books on Olney and Whipple genealogy, but I have no primary documentation to support it.
Please help me if you can. Thanks.
