Looking for birth and parentage for Culver Hibbard born @ 1822 in Canada near Montreal. He is in the 1850 census for Orwell, Vermont and married a Louisa Ann Munger there in 1851. He must have been of English descent as he married in the Methodist Church and I have no intication he spoke French. He and his family traveled to Minnesota Territory in 1855. I have combed what records I can find on line but with no luck. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

Try contacting the Quebec Family History Society; they charge a small fee to do research but may be able to help. Website is at: www.qfhs.ca/
