Thomas appears in Guadeloupe records as early as 1805, born in St Martin, French West Indies, married Sarah Anne Bryan and had 12 children. His father is listed as Thomas, who married Jane Anne Bryan. We are looking for the origin of the father Thomas. The family story is that three brothers were sailing on a trading ship from Boston, and decided to settle in the islands. We are looking for the link to John Lawrence who settled in Watertown, Mass in the early 1600's. DNA testing has linked our family to this John.
