Clement N. Drew b. 6 Sept 1775 Barnstead, NH. Removed to Newfield, ME where he married 1st, 25 Mar 1795 Nancy/Annie Tibbetts. I have all documented info. on him, 3 wives, and children. But NO parents.
Possibilities: Clement Drew b. abt 1728 Madbury, NH s/o Clement Drew & Mary Bunker. Ruth B. Ayers book, Early Families of Newfield, Maine, suggests a father Samuel Drew b. aft. Oct 1738 Madbury. Many researchers have hit the brick wall with documenting either Clement ~1728 or Samuel Drew ~1738. Common use of these names has made the search very complex. I know of 8 Clements in NH and Quebec born between 1694-1797, and 20 Samuels in NH, VT, ME, Quebec during same time frame. Only one documented son of Clement b ~1728 is Daniel Drew b. 14 Mar 1754.
