Seek parents of Gershom/Gersham/Jershom Rogers [b.1724 or 1727 (place unknown) - d.1804 Windham, Cumberland County, Maine]. During his lifetime he was an innkeeper, aspiring ferryman, farmer, and cooper.
He first appears in Falmouth, (now Portland) ME records in the announcement of his marriage in 1755 to Esther Mountfort. When she dies shortly after the birth of their daughter. He marries second in 1756 Sarah Waite Bangs, widow of Joshua Bangs. He and Sarah have seven children together.
