How do I allow pop-ups on AmericanAncestors.org?

Answer

All current web browsers automatically close any pop-ups you may encounter. However, this will present difficulties when attempting to print records or access PDF files. Follow these steps to add AmericanAncestors.org to your list of trusted websites that will display pop-ups.

In Internet Explorer

1) The pop-up blocker notification appears at the top of the page.

2) Select 'Always Allow Pop-ups from This Site' to enable the print option on AmericanAncestors.org.

3) Internet Explorer will ask to confirm you would like to allow pop-ups. Select 'Yes'.

In Chrome

1) The pop-up blocker notification appears that the top right side above the browser viewing window.

2) Select the blue square with the red 'x' icon to reveal a drop down navigation area. Select 'Always allow pop-ups from www.americanancestors.org.' Select  'Done'.

In Firefox

1) The pop-up blocker notification appears at the top of the page.

2) Select 'Options' to reveal a drop down navigation area. Select 'Allow pop-ups for www.americanancestors.org.'
