One of NEHGS's most popular programs, Come Home to New England is an intensive week of family history discovery at NEHGS headquarters in downtown Boston. Staff experts provide individual consultations and useful lectures to guide researchers of all levels in their genealogy explorations. Participants also enjoy group meals and social events, making every moment of this special program a chance to learn more about your family history.

NEHGS members receive discounted room rates as available at the Charlesmark Hotel, located three short blocks from the library. The Charlesmark can be reached at 617-247-1212 or at www.thecharlesmark.com. Please identify yourself as an NEHGS member when contacting the Charlesmark for reservations, and expect to show your NEHGS membership card upon arrival.

Cancellation Policy

Written cancellations received before July 18, 2014 will be subject to a $100 per person cancellation fee. No refund is possible after this date. Fees are based on group participation. There is no refund for services or portions of the program not taken, or for participants who do not complete the program.
