For the first time, NEHGS will lead a tour of county record offices in England. Join us for trips to the archives of Essex, Suffolk, and Norfolk and opportunities to learn from local experts. The trip, which immediately follows our London Research Tour held from May 19 – 26, will be based in Bury St. Edmunds in Suffolk, with day trips to the county record offices in Bury St. Edmunds, Norwich, and Chelmsford.

Participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements to the program. NEHGS will secure lodging at The Abbey Hotel in Bury St. Edmunds for the duration of the program only, May 27-31, 2013. Participants seeking lodging before or after the specified dates are responsible for securing accommodations on their own. NEHGS strongly recommends that participants purchase travel insurance to protect against monetary loss. Participants are responsible for transportation to and from Bury St. Edmunds.

Cancellation Policy:
Written cancellations received before April 1, 2013 will be subject to a $500 per person cancellation fee. No refund is possible after this date. Fees are based on group participation. There is no refund for services or portions of the tour not taken, or for participants who do not complete the tour.
