The Weekly Genealogist Survey
Last week's survey asked about young people and genealogy. 3,944 people answered the survey. More than one answer could be selected. The results are:
•    21%, I became interested in genealogy when I was a child (up to 12 years old).    
•    29%, I became interested in genealogy when I was a teenager (between 13 and 19 years old).    
•    66%, I enjoyed listening to my relatives tell family stories when I was a child.    
•    66%, I enjoyed listening to my relatives tell family stories when I was a teenager.    
•    67%, I liked looking at family photographs when I was a child.    
•    69%, I liked looking at family photographs when I was a teenager.    
•    27%, I enjoyed visiting cemeteries when I was a child.    
•    34%, I enjoyed visiting cemeteries when I was a teenager.    
•    45%, I have introduced at least one child to genealogy.    
•    47%, I have introduced at least one teenager to genealogy.
