Ask a Genealogist: Searching for USCC Naturalizations.

I am searching for the naturalization record of my ancestor Richard Walsh. When I located the index on microfilm it gave a volume and page, and also stated USCC naturalization. Can you tell me what USCC stands for, and where to search for these records in New England.

Thank you for your query to ask-a-genealogist at NEHGS. USCC stands for United States Circuit Court. The naturalization records for New England have been scanned and can be browsed, but not searchable, on the Family History Library website, Here is the link to the US Circuit Court naturalizations:
