Answer: The best resouce for identification of Massachusetts photographers would be the book by Chrs Steele and Ronald Polito, A Directory of Massachusetts photographers, 1839-1900. (Camden, ME: Picton Press, 1993). This book is available to use at the NEHGS library on the 6th floor.
