Question: I am looking for a will for a relative who died in 1986 in Quincy.  Where would I go to get a copy of it?

Answer: A Last Will and Testament in 1986 for Quincy, Mass. would be located in the Norfolk County Probate Court.  The seat of Norfolk County is in Dedham, Massachusetts.  In recent years the Probate Court has been located in Canton, Massachusetts, though you can still get deeds at the Norfolk County Registry of Deeds in Dedham.  Access is very easy when you visit, and you can still access the original probate records at the Probate court.  There are photocopiers available to make copies, scanners and digital cameras are no longer permitted
