NEHGS Volunteer Coordinator Helen Herzer reports that in 2010, more than 250 volunteers assisted at the Newbury Street library or worked at home on NEHGS database projects. Volunteers contributed nearly 18,800 hours of work—the equivalent of 10 staff years.
