What was a Boardwright in the 1740's in England?

Question:  Can you tell me what the occupation of "Boardwright" was in England in the 1740's?  I found this occupation in a parish record and have never seen it before.

 

Answer:  A "Boardwright " was a carpenter who made specialty items such as table and chairs.
