“A Farseeing Vision: Connecting Families, Advancing History,” produced by Atlantic Media, features today’s most important leaders in genealogy and history, including Ancestry.com CEO Tim Sullivan, David Rencher of FamilySearch International, Pulitzer-Prize winning historian David Hackett Fischer, CNBC anchor and author Bill Griffeth, Great Migration scholar Robert Charles Anderson, and Maureen Taylor, the Photo Detective. Others appearing from NEHGS include Brenton Simons, Eric Schultz, Susan Sloan, Ryan Woods and Ralph J. Crandall. This short documentary traces the origins of genealogy from the founding of NEHGS in 1845 to the blossoming of the field and the Society today.
