Question: Can you tell me a good resource besides the U.S. Navy to research a submarine my ancestor served on in World War I.

Answer:  One of the best resources for that sort of question is the Submarine Force Museum in Groton, Connecticut.  They maintain a collection of records, and photographs of all American Submarine vessels.  Their scrapbook collection is very impressive.  To find out more go online to: http://www.ussnautilus.org/library/libraryuse.shtml
